“Hey Hon, the babies are gone!” my husband yelled at me.
*sighs*
It seems like they just arrived and in fact, I believe it was only two weeks ago that I went about relocating their nest so that the kitties wouldn’t get at them and it was just yesterday that I took this picture of them. Just yesterday. Talk about timing. I knew with all that chirping going on that they were up to something…but I didn’t think they were going to leave me just yet.
I wanted to stamp my foot (after all the trouble I went through) but that would do little good.
And I’m so glad that humans don’t grow up that fast (even though somedays I might feel otherwise).
Gosh, I can think of so many metaphors at the moment but I think I just need to go hug my little girl and give her oodles of kisses.
You know, before too long she’s not going to let me smother her like that anymore…

Nope. She won’t. Though there will be times when she’s alot older that she’ll enjoy it very much again. My son does. Even though he’s all independant and such, he loves it when I make a big deal out of him.
They were cute weren’t they?
I’m glad that kitties didn’t get them. *smiles*
