I’m going home soon…and each year I try my best to get to Ruby Beach. I always seem to find something healing there…
It’s generally a solo trip but I think that this time I’m going to take my mom and my little girl and whoever else I can drag along with me.
I’ll be taking my Nikon too. ; )
I’m so excited to be going home again. I’m getting a whole two weeks, which I know will go by way too quickly but what with baby showers and family picnics I’m hoping to condense the visiting so that there’s more ‘down time’ and less ‘running around in the car’ time.
I’ve just got loads to do before I fly out next week and so it feels a bit insane right now. All my big ideas will just have to wait….getting my art submission together is primary but I am worried that I’m not going to get it done before I leave.
Promise to self: “No falling asleep on the couch tonight. Must write bio.”

I SO believe there are places of healing for us, and I’m happy that you have two weeks to spend at yours!
Seems to be a week of bios..eh? I finally finished mine and they said it was fine. I can’t wait to hear all about this, and I do understand about your bleu horses…they are part of your soul.
Looking forward to hearing all about your trip, and seeing your photographs!
Good and protective energies to you and yours during your travels!

Dear gypsy-heart,
I am so excited I can hardly sit still…well, except for the part where I’m so exhausted that all I want to do is sleep! LOL!
I think I wrote up something semi-appropriate. Thank heavens this one wasn’t a full-fledged bio; I don’t have to do that unless I get accepted.
I feel myself dragging my feet. I’ve got my art ready but I’m looking for excuses to not take it in on Friday. I wonder if I’m afraid of succeeding or if I’m really that reluctant to sell my bleus…not sure. I can always change my mind though…even if they take me on (or that’s what I’m telling myself). : )

Ruby beach, and beach 4, LOTS of memories there. Isn’t the olympic nat park beautiful? Too bad it rains so much. LOL

Beach 4 is beautiful too…and of course, none of it would be so pretty if it didn’t rain so much (but there are reasons I go visit in August). :)
